Aloe Vera Extract – Widely used in cosmetics. Thought to have antibacterial and antifungal properties.
Olive Leaf Extract – Contains oleuropeoside and oleanolic acid, claimed to improve blood flow and stimulate connective tissue.
Saccharomyces / Silicon , Magnesium, Copper, Iron, Zinc Ferment - Extracts of Yeast fermented in the presence of the metals mentioned. Very little research done. Supposedly a good anti-toxicant and skin conditioner.
Methylchloroisothiazolinone – Preservative, around 2-3% of people are allergic.

No research has been done into the effectiveness of Viviscal Scalp lotion on its own. Some research has been done on the ingredients.

Does Viviscal Scalp Lotion Work?
The products of Viviscal are safe because most of the ingredients are natural. There is a small chance you might be allergic to this product. The plant extracts should improve scalp health and follicle growth. It’ll be most effective when used with a proven hair regrowth treatment such as Propecia or Rogaine.
Using Viviscal Scalp Lotion alone might slow down hairloss, it is very unlikely to stop it.

This is my second time ordering the product as I saw a difference and decided to keep using for a couple of months.
I can’t speak to whether this helps hair regrowth or not (I don’t have visible hair loss, but every time I shampoo or even brush my hair, I’ve got gobs of hair in my hand) – BUT this product helps with itchy scalp AND is not greasy at all, as a matter of fact, it’s quite soothing and makes the hair/scalp feel smooth and soft.
I’d use it every day if it were easier to obtain and the price were just a bit lower (a little too expensive for me to use every day). I’d even settle for a larger/economy size.
